The Education for Development and Support Network (EDSN)

Plexlearning Academies for Mindful Community Growth
Where Education Meets Community

Plexlearning Placed-based Development

The Education for Development and Support Network (EDSN) is an association of Plexlearning neighborhood centers. -- collaborative community spaces dedicated to advancing mindfulness-centered Research-to-Practice (R2P), sustained curiosity, and civic engagement in support of sustainability and an affirmed quality of life for all .

EDSN leverages trusted neighborhood relationships, sponsored research partnerships, collective resources, and open educational practices to advance shared ambitions and curiosity-driven inquiry into life and living.  These efforts foster innovation, capacity building, entrepreneurship, socioeconomic empowerment, accountable governance, and the advancement of inalienable individual freedoms and responsibilities for everyone, everywhere!

Through structured collaboration, EDSN facilitates organizational Research-to-Practice initiatives, reflective self-study, external peer review, quality assurance processes, strategic planning, risk management, and accountability frameworks among participating groups and organizations.   In doing so, EDSN strengthens institutional resilience while cultivating adaptive, community-centered learning ecosystems.

Programs for Lifelong Learning

Experiential Learning that Presumes Education is Life Itself

EDSN’s AI-powered experiential learning centers function as Research-to-Practice laboratories, where individuals test, observe, and refine solutions to problems, and pursue lines of curiosity, they consider meaningful in their lives.   These centers are designed to remove barriers and address critical gaps in building sustainable socioeconomic pathways that lead to desirable careers, thriving neighborhood communities, and enhanced quality of life.

Our Plexlearning programs cultivate long-term, open-access learning ecosystems oriented toward practical, community-based quality-of-life solutions.  They integrate formal education and informal learning seamlessly with lived experience, recognizing education not as preparation for life, but as life itself.

Through cost-sharing and collaborative participation, these programs empower individuals and organizations to continuously learn, apply, share, and adapt.
