Who We Are

The Education for Development and Support Network (EDSN) is an association of Research-to-Practice partnerships that help people think for themselves with PlexLearning education toward sustainable entrepreneurial philanthropy, workforce and quality-of-life development.

We are networks of partnerships with private, academic, and government sectors to bridge workforce and quality-of-life development gaps between formal education, informal learning, and meaningful profession/vocations.   Our neighborhood program-centers are trusted spaces with deeply collaborative and cost-sharing dialogues for agile skills training and professional development.   Our family-based programs integrate participants’ experiences and knowledge skills-set into welcoming and affirming curriculum in ways that help to protect against predatory agency, financial entrapment, marginalization, hostile prejudices and chronic hopelessness.

We are enablers of access to privileges Artificial Intelligence technologies afford.   Our cloud-based technology labs provide access to a culture of enterprising PlexLearning education, knowledge objects and peer reviews that enable high quality information technology services and long-term reinvestment in neighborhood communities.   Cloud-based technology labs enable people at different stages of life, career, and vocation to stay relevant and productively engaged with their local neighborhood communities.

We are community engagement for development and PlexLearning managers which means we are lifetime bridges to meaningful vocations, welcoming gateways to academic programs with continuous and affirming support networks for maintaining relevance.   PlexLearning is a framework for purposeful, continuous and lifelong education (creation, conveyance, and use of knowledge) in artificial intelligence enabled societies.   The PlexLearning framework is a hybrid of machine learning and education methodologies that marshal personal knowledge artifacts as authorized actors on behalf of their principals (learners).   PlexLearning component methods, delivery systems, analytics processes and tools are collectively called PlexLearning education.

We are cost-sharing hubs for small Shared Interest Community groups.   We are stewards of neighborhood groups for coalescing around PlexLearning education, entrepreneurial philanthropy, cost sharing and important development issues not available if groups were working separately.   For example, access to appropriate: marketing; purchasing; research; finance; social agency; proximal learning and related professional resources.   Network benefits also include development of effective governance and counter-party oversight for managing collective protection against what neighborhood community groups view as predatory agency, economic entrapment, marginalization, ineffective leaderships and hostile prejudices.
