Plexlearning Placed-based Development

The Education for Development and Support Network (EDSN) is a Plexlearning association.  It is an organization of place-based Research-to-Practice collaborators dedicated to advancing meaningful and sustainable quality of life through community engagement and experiential learning.

PlexLearning empowers groups of individuals to co-learn and act collaboratively with other autonomous technological agents in perceiving, interpreting, and responding to life’s opportunities and challenges.  It extends beyond schooling to education -- promoting purposeful, continuous learning in neighborhood communities.

Through sponsored research and social financing, EDSN advances local innovation and socioeconomic empowerment by facilitating organizational self-study, risk management, and an external peer-review process among neighborhood groups.

Programs for Motivated Groups of Individuals

EDSN develops AI-powered experiential programs for motivated groups of individuals who seek to navigate the politics of acquiring and applying desired knowledge.  These programs remove barriers and fill critical gaps in building sustainable socioeconomic bridges that lead to desirable careers and thriving neighborhood communities.

Our Plexlearning programs foster long-term Open access ecosystems for quality-of-life.  They seamlessly integrate formal education, informal learning, entrepreneurship, workforce development, career management, and lifestyle-vocations, empowering participants to continuously learn, and adopt.

In a rapidly changing world, EDSN initiatives empower groups of individuals to innovate through experiential education that include (a) Socioeconomic incubators and place-based fellowships, (b) meaningful social finance and risk management, and (c) workforce-pipeline development and career retooling initiatives.

These efforts emphasize cost-sharing, capacity building, entrepreneurship, research scaffolding, self-evaluations, and peer reviews -- creating a culture of collaborative innovation and accountability.

Ultimately, EDSN's programs and services combine the strengths of human and non-human technological agents to advance communities of continuous learning. These ecosystems offer groups of individuals far greater opportunities to achieve sustainable and fulfilling lifestyle than would be possible alone.
