Plexlearning Placed-based Development

The Education for Development and Support Network (EDSN) is a Plexlearning Research-to-Practice association.  EDSN advances mindful, place-based knowledge sharing for sustainability and desired quality of life through meaningful long-term community engagement and experiential learning.

PlexLearning uses AI to empower groups of individuals to co-learn and act collaboratively with human and non-human technological agents in perceiving, interpreting, and responding to life’s opportunities and challenges.  It extends beyond schooling to education -- a purposeful sense of being framed by life-long curiosity that involve the politics of sharing knowledge, peer-reviewed accountability, and continuous learning about life itself.

EDSN leverages trusted relationships, sponsored research, and holistic financial education to advance local innovation, capacity building, entrepreneurship, and socioeconomic empowerment.  It facilitates organizational self-study, quality control, risk management, internal self-evaluation, and external peer-review processes among participating groups of individuals and organizations.

Welcome to the EDSN -- We explore purposeful living and the politics of being ...
We are mindfully, fiscally, creatively, and curiously engaged in knowledge creating and sharing ...
Striving to peacefully, respectfully, and sustainably cohabit Earth with all our neighbors ...
Co-learning, co-creating, and co-evolving with Gaia -- Earth, currently the only known inhabitable planet.

Programs that Presume Education is Life Itself

EDSN AI-powered experiential programs are for groups of individuals who seek to navigate the politics of acquiring and applying desired knowledge to life.  These programs remove barriers and fill critical gaps in building sustainable socioeconomic bridges that lead to desirable quality-of-life, careers, and thriving neighborhood communities.

Our Plexlearning programs foster long-term Open Access ecosystems for quality-of-life solutions.  They seamlessly integrate formal education and informal learning with life and of being.  These cost-sharing solutions include entrepreneurship incubators, neighborhood makerspaces, workforce retooling, technical certifications, career management, socioeconomic scaffoldings, place-based fellowships, holistic financial education, and lifestyle-vocations that empower participants to continuously learn, share, and adopt.

Ultimately, EDSN aims combine the strengths of human and non-human technological agents to advance mindfulness -- peaceful communities of continuous co-learning, co-caring, co-creating, and sharing.  The EDSN ecosystems offer groups of individuals far greater opportunities to achieve desired sustainable and fulfilling lifestyle than would be possible working alone.
