The Education for Development and Support Network (EDSN) is an association of Lifestyle Academies and Neighborhood Plexlearning Centers. Plexlearning advances continuous co-learning, co-adopting, and co-creating among human and non-human technological agents. It brings together academic rigor, meaningful vocations, entrepreneurial philanthropy, accountable governance, and the affordances of religion, business, science, technology, and other social practices to cultivate mindfulness-centered Research-to-Practice (R2P) communities.
EDSN facilitates sponsored research, lifelong learning relationships, asset management, and fiduciary stewardship of trust funds and intellectual property. Through distributed knowledge networks, we strengthen civic engagement, curiosity-driven R2P inquiry, accountable governance, and mutual respect within the politics of being.
Our collaborative quality-assurance programs codify reflective self-study, peer review, capacity building, quality-of-life advancement, strategic planning, and stewardship of our environmental niches. Together, these practices help finite and fallible individuals and communities develop increasingly viable understandings of how to know, do, and be within changing social, natural, and technological environments.
