Plexlearning Placed-based Development
The Education for Development and Support Network (EDSN) is a Plexlearning association. It is an organization of place-based Research-to-Practice collaborators dedicated to advancing meaningful and sustainable quality of life through community engagement and experiential learning.
PlexLearning empowers groups of individuals to co-learn and act collaboratively with other autonomous technological agents in perceiving, interpreting, and responding to life’s opportunities and challenges. It extends beyond schooling to education -- a purposeful sense of being framed by curiosity, the politics of knowledge, and continuous learning about life itself.
EDSN leverages trusted relationships, sponsored research, and social financing to advance local innovation, capacity building, and socioeconomic empowerment. It facilitates organizational self-study, quality control, risk management, and an external peer-review process among participating groups.

Our Plexlearning programs foster long-term Open access ecosystems for quality-of-life solutions. They seamlessly integrate formal education and informal learning with life. These cost-sharing solutions include entrepreneurship incubators, neighborhood makerspaces, workforce retooling, technical certifications, career management, socioeconomic scaffoldings, place-based fellowships, and lifestyle-vocations that empower participants to continuously learn, share, and adopt.
